CSIR – North East Institute of Science & Technology (NEIST), Jorhat, Assam has invited application through email for the recruitment of 15 vacancy of Senior Project Associate, Project Associate, Field Worker, Filed Assistant, JRF and other posts.

1. Senior Project Associate
No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Petroleum Technology / Polymer Processing

Age Limit: 40 yrs
Remuneration: Rs. 42,000/- (+ 8% HRA)

Project Period: 18-03-2024
Project Title: Polymers, their composites and polymeric membranes for sustainable development of petroleum industries.

2. Project Associate-I
No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: 1st Class M Sc in Botany / Microbiology / Mycology & Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Life Sciences.
Desirable: Experience in the similar area.

Age Limit: 35 yrs
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- for NET and Rs.25,000/- per month for others (+ 8% HRA)

Project Period: 29-03-2024
Project Title: Biofertilizer for Yield Enhancement in Normal to Water Stress Conditions for Entrepreneurship Development.

3. Project Associate-I
No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: BE / B Tech or ME/ M Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Desirable: Experience in the similar area.

Age Limit: 35 yrs
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- for NET/GATE and Rs.25,000/- per month for others (+ 8% HRA)

Project Period: 29-03-2024
Project Title: Biofertilizer for Yield Enhancement in Normal to Water Stress Conditions for Entrepreneurship Development.

4. Field Worker
No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Science

Age Limit: 35 yrs
Remuneration: Rs. 18,000/- per month + 8% HRA

Project Period: 29-03-2024
Project Title: Biofertilizer for Yield Enhancement in Normal to Water Stress Conditions for Entrepreneurship Development.

5. Junior Research Fellow (P)
No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: 1st Class M Sc in Organic Chemistry
Desirable: NET/GATE

Age Limit: 35 yrs
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- for NET and Rs.25,000/- per month for others

Project Period: 04-03-2022
Project Title: Continuous Flow Photochemistry: Visible Light Induced C-H Functionalization and C-C/C-X Bond Formations to Access Valuable Heterocycles and Natural Products.

6. Senior Project Associate
No of posts: 3

Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Physics/ Seismology/ Geophysics/ Geology.
Desirable: Experience in relevant field.

Age Limit: 40 yrs
Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/-

Project Period: 28-02-2022
Project Title: To Preserve, Process and Analyze of Old Analog Seismograms which are still lying unused.

7. Project Associate-I
No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: 1st Class M Sc in Physics/ Seismology / Geophysics / Geology.
Desirable: Experience in relevant field.

Age Limit: 35 yrs
Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- per month

Project Period: 28-02-2022
Project Title: To Preserve, Process and Analyse of Old Analog Seismograms which are still lying unused.

8. Project Associate-I
No of posts: 2

Educational Qualification: BE / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Desirable: Higher Qualification will be preferred.

Age Limit: 35 yrs
Remuneration: Rs.25,000/- per month

Project Period: 30-03-2023
Project Title: Design and Development of 500kg capacity solar-biomass Hybrid Distillation Unit with the Mobile type Distillation Vassal and its field Demonstration for Entrepreneurship Development.

9. Field Assistant
No of posts: 2

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Age Limit: 35 yrs
Remuneration: Rs.20,000/- per month

Project Period: 30-03-2023

10. JRF/ Project Associate-I
No of posts: 2

Educational Qualification: M Sc in Chemistry (Organic / Inorganic / Physical / Biochemistry)
Desirable: NET (JRF/LS)

Age Limit: 35 yrs
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- for NET and Rs.25,000/- per month for others (+ 8% HRA)

Project Period: 30-03-2024
Project Title: Empowerment of Apatani Tribe of Arunachal Pradesh through Value Addition of Ethnic Food Items.

Selection Procedure of CSIR-NEIST Jorhat Recruitment

An online interview will be held to select prospective candidates .

The lists of shortlisted candidates together with date of interview shall be notified only in institute website on 24-08-2021 and interview shall commence from 25-08-2021 onwards.
