1. Professor

No of posts: 8 [UR: 3, OBC/ MOBC: 5]

Educational Qualification: As per UGC Norms (UGC Regulation 2018)


2. Associate Professor

No of posts: 16 [UR: 10, OBC/ MOBC: 4, SC: 1, STP: 1]

Educational Qualification: As per UGC Norms (UGC Regulation 2018)

 

3. Assistant Professor

No of posts: 14 [UR: 5, OBC/ MOBC: 2, SC: 4, STH: 1, EWS: 2]

Educational Qualification: As per UGC Norms (UGC Regulation 2018)


Pay Scale (as per latest UGC revision):

  •  Professor: Rs. 1,44,200/- to 2,18,200/-
  •  Associate Professor: Rs 1,31,400/- to 2,17,100/-
  •  Assistant Professor: Rs. 57,700/- to 1,82,400/-

Application Fee: Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- (in case of SC, ST Rs. 500/-) demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Gauhati University payable at SBI Branch, G.U. as an application fee.

Completed application form along with necessary enclosures need to be send to "The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-781014", latest by 3rd October, 2021.

The name of the posts & Department must be written on the envelope of the application. In all cases two copies of application forms with all testimonials (self attested) need to be submitted.
