Applications in prescribed form are invited from the citizen of India for the filling up of the following Teaching /Non-Teaching posts in various Departments of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV), Nagaon, Assam:
1. Associate Professor
No. of Posts: 01
Department: Department of Commerce
Education Qualification: As per UGC Regulation, 2018 for the maintenance & standard of Appointment of Teachers.
Desirable: Experience in Teaching & Research.
2. Assistant Professor
No. of Posts: 03 (Management-01, Accountancy-01, Finance- 01)
Department: Department of Commerce
Education Qualification: As per UGC Regulation, 2018 for the maintenance & standard of Appointment of Teachers.
Desirable: Experience in Teaching & Research.
3. Assistant Professor
No. of Posts: 01
Department: Department of Sociology
Education Qualification:
As per UGC Regulation, 2018 for the maintenance & standard of Appointment of Teachers.
Specialisation / Preference (i) Sociology of Health & Social Psychology (ii) Culture & Mass Media
Desirable: Experience in Teaching & Research.
4. Assistant Professor
No. of Posts: 01
Department: Department of North-East Studies
Education Qualification:
As per UGC Regulation, 2018 for the maintenance & standard of Appointment of Teachers.
Preference: (i) Master Degree in Geography / Folklore /History / Economics / Cultural Studies/Political Science (ii) Experience in Teaching & Research.
5. Assistant Professor
No. of Posts: 01
Department: Department of Sankaradeva Studies
Education Qualification:
As per UGC Regulation, 2018 for the maintenance & standard of Appointment of Teachers.
Preference: Master Degree in English / Cultural Studies / Folklore / History / Assamese / Political Science / Education.
Desirable:
(i) Ph.D. or equivalent works on Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva.
(ii) Experience in Teaching & Research
6. Assistant Professor
No. of Posts: 01
Department: Department of Social Work
Education Qualification:
As per UGC Regulation, 2018 for the maintenance & standard of Appointment of Teachers.
Specialization/Preference: Medical & Psychiatrics / Community Development / Human Resource Management and Psychiatric Social Work.
Desirable:
MSW/MA in Social Work in regular mode with Ph.D./UGC NET.
Experience in Teaching & Research.
7. Assistant Professor
No. of Posts: 01
Department: Department of Performing Arts (Drama)
Education Qualification:
As per UGC Regulation, 2018 for the maintenance & standard of Appointment of Teachers.
Specialization/Preference: M.A. in Performing Arts (Drama)
Desirable: Experience in Teaching & Research.
8. PS to VC
No. of Posts: 01
Department: Office of the Vice-Chancellor
Education Qualification: Master’s Degree with 55% and Stenography.
Desirable:
Minimum 5 years experience in Higher Educational Establishment.
High Level of Computer Efficiency.
Salary: As per MSSV Pay Matrix
Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs. 2,000.00 (Rupees two thousand) only for the post of Sl. No. 1 to 6 and Rs. 1,000.00 (Rupees one thousand) only for the post of Sl. No. 7 by demand draft in favour of “REGISTRAR, MAHAPURUSHA SRIMANTA SANKARADEVA VISWAVIDYALAYA” payable at “State Bank of India, Nagaon Main Branch (IFSC: SBIN0000146)” or Cash at Accounts Branch of the University as an application fee for the post.
