PGCIL Recruitment 2021: 137 Field Engineer and Field Supervisor Vacancy

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL)

POWERGRID, a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete Inter-State Transmission System and operation of national & regional power grids.

For its TBCB (Tariff Based Competitive Bidding) Project works under its various regions, POWERGRID invites applications from young, dynamic and experienced professionals.

 

The engagement shall be purely on temporary & contractual basis for a period of 24 months initially or till completion of projects, whichever is earlier. The actual engagement may vary depending on requirement and status of projects.

Educational Qualification of PGCIL Recruitment 2021

Field Engineer (Electrical): Full time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Should have one year post qualification experience of Design/ engineering/ construction/ testing & commissioning/ Electrical works, etc. in rural electrification (RE)/ distribution management system (DMS)/ sub transmission (ST)/ transmission lines (TLs)/ sub-stations (S/S),etc. Experience in PSU/Listed company particularly in power sector shall be preferred.

Field Engineer (Civil): Full time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil discipline or equivalent from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS/ST and pass marks for SC candidates. Should have one year post qualification experience of Design/ engineering/ construction/ testing & commissioning/ Civil works, etc. in rural electrification (RE)/ distribution management system (DMS)/ sub transmission (ST)/ transmission lines (TLs)/ sub-stations (S/S),etc. Experience in PSU/Listed company particularly in power sector shall be preferred

Field Supervisor (Electrical): Full time Diploma from recognized technical Board/Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E etc with or without Diploma is not allowed. Should have one year post qualification experience of Construction/ testing &commissioning/ Electrical works, etc. in rural electrification (RE)/distribution management system(DMS)/ sub transmission (ST)/transmission lines (TLs)/ substations(S/S), etc.Experience in PSU/Listed company particularly in power sector shall be preferred.

Field Supervisor (Civil): Full time Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized technical Board/Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS/ST and pass marks for SC candidates.Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E etc with or without Diploma is not allowed.  Should have one year post qualification experience of Construction/ testing &commissioning/ Civil works,etc. in rural electrification (RE)/distribution management system(DMS)/ sub transmission (ST)/transmission lines (TLs)/substations(S/S), etc.Experience in PSU/Listed company particularly in power sector shall be preferred.

Age Limit: 29 years as on 27.08.2021. (Candidates should not have been born before 27.08.1992 or after 27.08.2003)

•  Field Engineer (Electrical/Civil): Rs. 400/-
•  Field Supervisor (Electrical/Civil): Rs. 300/-

SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
