Applications are invited from Indian Citizen in standard Form as published in Assam Gazette in Part IX from intending candidates who are the citizen of India as defined in Article 5 and Article 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up the sanctioned posts mentioned below, which are lying vacant, in the office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hojai, Assam.

How to Apply for CJM Hojai Recruitment 2021

1. Intending candidates shall submit their applications through proper channel.

2. Candidates shall submit experience certificate issued by respective competent authority along with the copy of service book and copies of ACR of last 3 years.


3. Candidates will have to superscribe the post applied for at the top of Envelope in Block letter.

4. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected.

5. Application must be accompanied by 3 self attested copies of recent passport size photographs.

6. No TA / DA is admissible for attending interview.

7. Mode of selection shall be on the basis of “seniority cum merit / through the oral interview, if the provision of law laid down in Rule 17 of “The Assam Chief Judicial Magistrates Establishment (Ministerial) Service Rules, 1987’ is resorted to, due to non availability of desirable / experienced candidates.

8. No Application will be entertained after Schedule date for receiving the application. The authority shall not be responsible for any postal delay.

9. Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify 1he candidate for the post.

10. In view of FR 11 the appointing authority reserves the right to utilise the service of the employees for any other purpose other than to which he / she is appointed, including utilisation of his service on holiday, if the situation so demand in the public interest.

11. The appointing authority reserves the right in view of Rule 17 of “The Assam Chief Judicial Magistrates Establishment (Ministerial) Service Rules, 1987” to relax the requisite criteria / requirement in respect of the suitable candidate to such extent and subject to such conditions as it may consider necessary for dealing with the case in a just and equitable manner.

13. List of sorted out candidates and the date of interview will be uploaded in the official website mentioned herein below, viz- “districts.ecourts.gov.in/ hojai’.

14. Application should reach the office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hojai during office hours on working days on or before 04.01.2022.
