SLET Commission, Assam has release notification for the next State Eligibility Test (SET) 2021, which will be held on 27-02-2022 (Sunday) in all the University centers of North East States. 

State Eligibility Test (SET) 2022: Details

  • Name of the Examination: State Eligibility Test (SET) 2022

  • Conducting Authority:  SLET Commission, Assam

  • Date of Examination:  27-02-2022 (Sunday) 

 

State Eligibility Test (SET) 2022:Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates belonging from India who has secured at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) in Master Degree or its equivalent examination from Universities/institutions recognized by University Grant Commission, UGC.

  • However, candidates belonging form the Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Person with Disability (PWD) Category, Other Backward Classes (OBC) who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master degree or equivalent examination are eligible to appear in the SET Examination 2021. 

 

State Eligibility Test (SET) 2022: Age Limit 

There is no age limit for this test and a candidate can avail of any number of chances.

The State Eligibility Test Tconsist of two papers. This two papers will have only the objective type questions of the following forms - 

  • (a) Assertion and Reasoning

  • (b) Matching

  • (c) True and False 

  • (d) Multiple Choice

 

This test will be held on a day in two sessions…

 

First Session - Paper No.I

  • Total Marks - 100

  • Total No. of Questions - 100

  • Duration - 01 Hours (From 10:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M)

 

Second Session - Paper No.II

  • Total Marks - 200

  • Total No. of Questions - 100

  • Duration - 02 Hours (From 11:30 A.M to 01:30 P.M)

 

State Eligibility Test (SET) 2022: Details of Papers

  1. Paper – I: It is the general subject, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidates. 

  2. Paper-II: It consists of 100 objective type questions based on the subject. Each question will carry 2 marks. This paper will not carry a negative markings system.

Candidates who want to appear in the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2021 need to fill an online application form available at - www.sletneonline.co.in.
