North Eastern Regional Institute of Water and Land Management (NERIWALM), Tezpur has invited application for the recruitment of 5 Consultant (Agriculture/ Administration) and Young Professional (Agriculture/Social Science) vacancy on contractual basis. 

1. Consultant (Agriculture)

No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Professionals having Bachelor’s degree and Master’s Degree in Agricultural Science with specialization in Agronomy/ Agro – Bio Chemistry/ Soil Science/ Irrigation Water Management with a minimum of 10 years of Post Qualification experience in the field of Water and Land Management. Desirable: Ph.D in area in related subject.

Retired Govt. Servants with Level -12 in the pay matrix and above and having experience of 5 years in Water and Land Management with maximum Age limit of 65 years, would also be eligible for the position, in respect of projects, schemes and programmes

The Professional should have strong written and communication skill, power point presentation and deliberation of lectures, working knowledge of computers and common software packages, proficiency in compilation, editing and reviewing of scientific reports in English language

2. Consultant (Administration)

No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Professionals having Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with minimum of 10 years of Post Qualification experience in the field of General Administration.

Retired Govt. Servants with Level-08 in the pay matrix and above and having experience of 5 years in General Administration with maximum Age limit of 65 years, would also be eligible for the position.

Experience in matters relating to formulation of policy & programmes, court cases,Vigilance/Disciplinary matters, administration/ Establishment cases, knowledge of computer applications; MS Office, analytical presentation skills with ability to generate a well-researched and written report.

3. Young Professional (Agriculture)

No of posts: 2

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and Master’s Degree in Agricultural Science with specialization in Agronomy/ Agro-Bio Chemistry/ Soil Science/ Irrigation Water Management from a recognized university, good academic record (minimum 55% throughout)

Working experience in the field of agriculture, working knowledge of GIS software, working knowledge of computers and common software packages (MS WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT etc.)

4. Young Professional (Social Science)

No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Master’s Degree in in Sociology/ Social Works/ Statistics/ Geography from a recognized university with good academic record (minimum 55% throughout)

Working experience in the field of agriculture, working knowledge of GIS software, working knowledge of computers and common software packages (MS WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT etc.)

Remuneration:

• Consultant (Agriculture): Rs.1,00,000.00 pm (fixed)
• Consultant (Administration): Rs. 70,000.00 pm (fixed)
• Young Professional (Agriculture/Social Science): Rs. 45,000.00 pm (fixed).

Age Limit: Maximum age limit for appointment of Young Professionals shall be 40 years as on closing date of advertisement and that for consultants shall be 64 years as on closing date of advertisement.
